A Gentle, Evidence-Informed Approach to Healing

A scenic view of a rocky coastline at sunset with cliffs and greenery, and calm ocean waters.

Becky’s approach is warm, practical, and steady. She bridges clinical care and yoga therapy to support people across a wide range of experiences.

After years of working within healthcare, Becky saw how many people - patients, caregivers, and medical professionals - were carrying stress, anxiety, and emotional fatigue with very little support. Many felt disconnected from their bodies and overwhelmed by what they were facing.

Through her own healing journey, along with advanced training in yoga therapy, restorative practices, and breathwork, Becky discovered a gentler way to help people reconnect with calm and ease.

ABOUT ROOTED RADIANCE

Becky is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience supporting patients, families, and healthcare teams through complex and emotionally demanding moments. Over time, she witnessed how stress, fear, uncertainty, and illness can affect every layer of wellbeing - physically, emotionally, and mentally - and how many people longed for support in feeling more grounded, calm, and connected within themselves.

During this time, Becky began experiencing her own overwhelm. This led her to explore yoga therapy, restorative practices, and breathwork - not as a trend, but as a genuine path to healing.

She began practicing yoga in 2008 and has been teaching for over 15 years. She completed her initial training at Nosara Yoga Institute with Don and Amba Stapleton, and continued her studies through mentorship with Kimberly Greeff in Anchorage, Alaska. Her training also includes Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater and advanced Yoga Therapy training through the Soul of Yoga Institute, where she studied with Nischala Joy Devi, Richard Miller, and Indu Arora, among many other wonderful practitioners.

She now mentors Yoga Therapy students through the Soul of Yoga Institute and leads a 50-hour professional training, ‘Yoga for Heart Disease and Cancer,’ integrating modern medical understanding with therapeutic yoga practices to support healing, resilience, and whole-person wellbeing.

Becky is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and integrates these practices into clinical settings, where she has seen how simple, accessible tools can support both patients and healthcare professionals.

Rooted Radiance was created at this intersection - where clinical understanding meets gentle mind-body support, and where healing begins with awareness and compassion rather than striving.

Healing is not a single moment -
it builds over time.

AND PRESENCE BECOMES THE MEDICINE.
